History
It was the passion of Christian education and service that the late founders, Dr. Alejandro N. Catalan, Sr. and Dr. Rosario P. Catalan, put up a school in the name of St. Blaise Christian School Inc. The late Dr. Alejandro N. Catalan was born on February 3, 1935, where the feast St. Blaise ( San Blas ), the patron saint of sore throat is celebrated. That is where St. Blaise Christian School Inc. comes up with its name.
In 1987, initially established beside the Parish Church of San Fabian. It primarily catered little children on preschool, and eventually their population grew. A new challenge to build bigger learning ground for them, as well as the problem where to send the preschool graduates arose. Thus, in 1987 a more spacious campus conducive for learning was established in Cayanga, San Fabian, Pangasinan.
St. Blaise Christian School Inc. continued to serve the community even after Dr. Alejandro N. Catalan, Sr. expired in 1992. in 2002, after the death of Dr. Rosario P. Catalan, the school was handed over the management of Dr. Voltaire P. Arzadon, who willingly handled the institution for four years.
Presently, St. Blaise Christian School Inc., with its mission to give quality education to the youth of San Fabian, as well as from those nearby communities, continues to produce well – ground, God – fearing, competitive students, through the management of the Catalan Family once again.
